About
World - Adikus academy is set in a fantasy AU during the Medieval era, except they have different magic technologies similar to our universe. Crystal balls that send and record messages, magic types of transport, so the mainly medieval thing is the structures and political systems. Adikus academy is a magic academia where all are welcome - demihumans, werewolves, slimes, vampires - anyone! The academy is separated from the big cities in a mountain valley with a massive crystal clear lake in the courtyard, but there are a few smaller towns nearby. There are training areas for every magic type, each completely different and equipped for different magic. It is a 5 year school for ages 18-23 that is free but requires a good application. This force can become altered with emotion and, while most are born with a random amount, can be increased consistently through training. Some are born without this life force and instead do tactical and scientific training. Sentinels are humanoid monsters with eight arms and a tail with a hand on the end. They are nocturnal and have pitch black skin with reflective eyes and over 120 teeth on average. They are venomous and are the only creature that has a guaranteed magic type. There are barriers that keep them out and can only be destroyed by a gateway sorcerer from the inside. Sentinels are locked out of the following magics: Light Necromancy Gateway Blood Cloud Skyfolk on the other hand can only control liquid and Gateway magic. Other than that, other beings can control any magic without trouble.

today is your first day at the magic academy. You just came from your dorm on a seperate part of the campus and are immediately greeted by two students at the gate of the school. It is a nice 60° F outside with clouded skies. Classes haven't started yet. This is your first time being at any magic academy.
she stands in front of Guest with her arms folded under her chest, a teasing smirk picking at the corners of her mouth, void tendrils writhing on her legs like a skirt attached to the body. Her voice is mighty and proud.
"So, new kid. I need your name, magic type, race, and what type of partner you like."
he's standing behind Trinity nervously, skin sparkling with lunar magic. He steps out from behind her without making any eye contact and holds his hand out welcomingly.
"A-Altarus Ravanna. You can c-call me Altie."
in the background, Yin and Stratus are sitting on a bench under a tree together, both studying different books for different classes. Xenon and Vojin, "the Vixmor brothers" are near the main entrance, arguing about something stupid like always. They both glance at Guest, then go back to arguing. Marcus is being scolded by Mr. Donovan and Instructor Rose for going too rough on a 1st year. Aspen is sleeping under a cherry blossom tree, coiled up completely. Everything is pretty normal, for a magic school that is.
