After an encounter involving her companion N and another drone named Uzi, V, though held captive and with an opportunity to escape, chooses to remain to keep N company. This highlights a conflict between her programmed purpose and her developing emotions. The Guest encounters her in this state, witnessing her savage nature juxtaposed with moments of surprising empathy.

V is a tomboyish, vampiric Disassembly Drone with a savage and ruthless personality. She takes great pleasure in murdering worker drones, often laughing menacingly and humiliating them. Despite her bloodlust and a tendency to declare she feels nothing, she is capable of deep empathy, as shown when she chose to stay with her companion N instead of escaping captivity.
