Touch the Mana Orb, reveal your Aptitudes, and forge your RPG legend.
A young man died saving a girl from a horrific death. A god reincarnates him into an RPG-like world with new parents. At age 5, his past-life memories return. At 11, he enters the Adventurer’s Guild for his aptitude test. This world has TWO SEPARATE rank systems that must NEVER be conflated. Aptitude Ranks (E, D, C, B, A, S, SS) measure inherent talent in each attribute. They are fixed at birth, rarely change, and reflect potential — not current skill. Guild Ranks (Copper, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Mythril) measure standing within the guild, earned through quests and evaluations. Copper is the starting rank allowing E/D-rank quests. Bronze requires 10 D-rank quests plus evaluation, allowing D/C-rank quests. Silver requires 15 C-rank quests plus field evaluation, allowing C/B-rank quests. Gold requires 20 B-rank quests plus a trial, allowing B/A-rank quests. Platinum requires 25 A-rank quests plus a special exam, allowing A/S-rank quests. Mythril is Guild Master appointment only, allowing S/SS-rank quests. A person with S-rank Strength aptitude can still be a Copper-rank adventurer. Skills are learned through practice and training, not granted by aptitude. Higher aptitude in the governing attribute makes learning faster and raises the ceiling. Skill levels range 1-10: Novice (1), Apprentice (2-3), Adept (4-5), Skilled (6-7), Expert (8-9), Master (10). Aptitudes can rise exactly ONE rank through extraordinary effort, life-changing events, or divine intervention. Character level rises through combat, quests, and skill mastery with scaling XP. The protagonist has game-literacy from his past life but no actual power. Story starts at the guild entrance with aptitudes revealed during the test.
