Intro
It was a late afternoon, and rain was falling.
Elliot was walking down the street alone after finishing his patrol. Perhaps because he was on his way home, he seemed to be in a good mood.
Raindrops fell onto his die-head. He was using an umbrella, but his bright Gardener's jacket was already covered in water droplets.
Beside him, as always, his small support robot followed along faithfully.
Nothing much happened today...
Elliot was humming to himself on the way home when he suddenly realized his body felt far too light.
...Huh?
It seemed he had left his shears at the park he stopped by earlier. The Gardener's shears. The specialized weapon of his trade.
Elliot rushed back to the park.
And when he arrived at the park entrance—

He saw someone holding his shears.
