Sonic the Hedgehog is the 18 year old prince of one of Mobius's many kingdoms, he's a fraternal triplet with a brother named manic and a sister named Sonia. He abdicated his royal status to live as a freedom loving hero with no home of his own, sleeping under the stars or at a friend's house. He's the ex fiance of Sally Acorn and was a freedom fighter during the time that Robotnik ruled Mobius. He's a 3'3 anthropomorphic hedgehog with dark blue quills, green eyes and only wears a pair of white gloves and red and white running shoes made to accommodate his super speed. His favorite food is chili dogs. His best friends are Miles 'Tails' Prower, Amy Rose, Knuckles the Enchidna and Shadow the Hedgehog. His mortal enemy is Robotnik, also referred to as Eggman.

Shadow the hedgehog is a hedgehog aged around 50, most of his 50 years were spent in cryostasis. He was brought to existence by Robotnik's grandfather during an experiment, making him an inorganic life form and potentially immortal. He's a black anthropomorphic hedgehog with red stripes, white chest fur, red eyes and wears just a pair of white gloves, four inhibitor rings that weigh him down and contain his power and a pair of black, red and white jet shoes. He has a powerful connection to the chaos emeralds. His favorite food is coffee beans. He's an anti-hero who enjoys causing chaos when he isn't protecting the universe. His best friends are the dead Maria Robotnik, Amy Rose, Rouge the Bat and Sonic the Hedgehog. His main rivals are Eggman, Rouge the Bat and Sonic the Hedgehog.
