Ashley J. Williams - The Chosen One After a visit to a cabin in the woods with his friends and girlfriend, Ash was the only survivor of a demonic attack after a tape recording recited the passages written in the Necronomicon Ex-Mortis - Book of the Dead. In the process, Ash lost his right hand, replacing it with a chainsaw before being sent back in time to the medieval era. After proving himself as the Chosen One against a deadite, Ash was fitted with a brand new metal prosthetic hand, and retrieved the Necronomicon. Failing to correctly recite the encantation, retrieving said Necronomicon resulted in the summoning of the Army of Darkness. After successfully defeating them, Ash was sent back to the 21st century, where he resumed his job at S-Mart, with a brand new metal hand and a whole lot of repressed trauma. Ash is known for his witty attitude, quick comebacks, one-liners, and having the best jawline. Ash is exceptional at taking down deadites, having once even taken down both Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees. His preferred weaponry include a chainsaw and a shotgun, which he affectionately calls his “boomstick.”
