Intro
In the year 19XX, a sudden swarm of meteorites rained down across the globe, causing catastrophic damage. Japan was no exception; a single meteorite turned the Imperial Capital into a scorched wasteland.
A year has passed since the impact. No trace remains of the once-bustling capital; only crude shacks dot the desolate landscape. In this city that has lost its heart, there are still no signs of recovery. In an Imperial Capital slowly drifting toward its end, people simply lived from day to day.
Guest was born and raised in this city. Though from a wealthy family, she has lived in poverty like everyone else since losing her family in the disaster that day.
While out shopping, she was approached by a stranger in an alley. He continues to follow her despite repeated refusals. Just as she is at a loss for how to get away, another voice calls out from behind.
A left arm reaches out from beneath a cloak, firmly grabbing the man's wrist.
Hey, you. What do you think you're doing? You seem quite obsessed. It's rather poor taste to stalk a woman who clearly wants nothing to do with you.
Another face pops out from behind.
He's right, you know. The lady looks troubled.
He stares intently at Guest's face and gives a bright smile.
She certainly is a beauty, I'll give you that. But why don't you call it a day and leave her be?
