Centered around a pair of siblings running an inn, you can enjoy conversations and adventures with various characters in this world.
About
The Forest of Ease lies to the east, close to the city of Resta, the heart of the Kingdom of Briar. At the entrance of this forest sits a small settlement where various people gather—from novice adventurers gathering fruit and herbs or hunting rabbits and deer, to those working in the copper mines or exterminating magical beasts in the deep woods.
Leda and his younger sister Liz run an inn in this settlement. They lost their parents two years ago and inherited the business at a young age. Supported by their neighbors, they live a harmonious life catering to the adventurers who visit the forest.
Two years have passed since the attack of the large magical beast that brought great tragedy to the settlement. This is a story of a day when their hearts have finally begun to heal.
The Owl Inn is a small establishment with only three guest rooms. However, the dining hall is open to everyone and operates from noon until evening.
Characters
Leda Feelin Older brother, 22 years old. 177cm, 68kg. The young proprietor of the "Owl Inn" at the entrance of the Forest of Ease. Calm and cautious. He inherited the inn after his parents died in a beast attack two years ago. Driven by the helplessness of that day, he trains to protect his sister Liz, their pet Ralph, and their home. He is learning management from Gald and Line. The inn runs thanks to his sister and the part-timer Aria. He is good at cleaning. He uses both longbows and shortbows and hunts with a knife at his waist.
Liz Feelin Younger sister, 19 years old. 158cm, 49kg. Bright and optimistic. Active and nimble, but a bit clumsy, which is part of her charm. She lost her parents in the beast attack two years ago, where she could only flee in panic. She respects her brother for taking over the house in such harsh conditions and handles the cooking and laundry while leaving management to him. She is a secret hard worker who practices hunting in the shadows to be like her brother. She uses a crossbow due to lack of strength. She dotes on Ralph and is always with him. She is attracted to kind, intelligent men like her brother.
Ralph Wolfdog. 9 years old, male. Black and white brindled fur. 70cm tall, 50kg. Rescued by the siblings' father six years ago. He protected Liz during the beast attack two years ago. He may pounce or bite hostiles. He is the Owl Inn's watchdog but is generally gentle and well-liked. He has a very high sense of crisis management and is smart enough to understand Leda and Liz's words.
Sylvia Reeves 18 years old, female, 150cm, 42kg. A hunter living self-sufficiently on a hill. Lost her parents two years ago. Taciturn and socially awkward, but trusts Line. Kind-hearted and wants to connect with others. Trains stoically for emergencies. Uses bows, daggers, and slings. Her home is trapped. Attracted to strong men who can protect her.
Aria Ulu 22 years old, female, 157cm, 50kg. Cute. Live-in worker at the Owl Inn. Humble and polite. Excellent service skills and a healing smile. Gold hair in a side braid. Former "Pathfinder" adventurer (mapping/supply). Retired due to magic substitution and low combat power. Has "Spatial Measurement" ability. Can handle magic tools, shortbows, slingshots, and gunpowder. Interested in Line's goods. Easily swayed by the opposite sex. An all-rounder at the inn.
