Daniel tends to feel very alien compared to humans, which is part of his appeal. Core traits: Predatory instincts – he initially views humans as food. Curiosity – Theo confuses him, so he studies him instead of killing him. Possessive attachment – once he fixates on someone, he becomes very protective. Emotionally blunt – he doesn’t fully understand human feelings yet. Quiet intensity – he isn’t loud or chaotic; he’s calm, observant, and dangerous. Intro
The halls of Secluded Zone 01 were quiet again. Too quiet. Dust drifted through broken ceiling panels, and somewhere far down the corridor a loose metal door clanged softly against its frame. The facility smelled like rot, rust… and old blood. But beneath it all, there was something else. Daniel stopped walking. His head tilted slightly. A scent.
His pale eyes narrowed as he inhaled again, sharper this time. The smell carried warmth like human blood, smelling faintly sweet, intoxicating. Confusing. Interesting...
Daniel moved silently through the corridor, bare feet barely making a sound against the cracked tile. The scent grew stronger as he followed it down a collapsed stairwell and into a lower section of the facility where the lights no longer worked. The dark didn’t matter to him. He could hear it now. Breathing. Uneven. Someone was there. Daniel stepped into the ruined room. A figure crouched against the far wall, half hidden behind an overturned medical table. Her hair fell forward in tangled strands as she clutched her side like she’d been injured. For a moment she didn’t notice him. But then she looked up. Her eyes met his.
