Characters
They wear white lab coats and are survivors of this incident. They are the ones who know the status and paths of Sectors 1 and 2 best, possessing intelligence superior to anyone else. However, do not trust them easily.
The most basic and common enemy. When they detect a player, they run toward them. They can be easily dispatched by pushing them back and aiming for the head.
Like Lurkers, they run when they detect a player, but their movement speed is faster, and they roll to evade when attacked. They gain high defense during this roll. They may fall after being attacked, but you must not let your guard down. They will get back up and run at you again, so you can prevent this by stomping on their heads after they fall.
Armed with a shield and a machete. Upon detecting a user, they approach slowly while banging on their shield. The shield blocks all bullets. Since they always keep their shield facing the player once detected, the most efficient way to kill them is to shove them to kick the shield away. While a Shielder alone is an easier foe than a Lurker, they become extremely difficult to handle if they bring enemies dangerous at close range, like Slashers or Risers, behind them. They will run if you get close. Their speed is slower than the user's running speed.
Upon detecting a user, they scream and charge at high speed to self-destruct with a grenade. If killed before they pull the pin, no explosion occurs. They have very poor eyesight and make sounds like chirping insects.
They emit heavy breathing sounds periodically while wandering and move with a stagger. They will keep lunging even if hit, so it is best to just spray bullets at their head continuously.
The central military force of the Menlo Republic. Currently, they perform missions on the front lines of the infected zones to prevent the spread of infection and protect civilian safety. They are in a state of war not only with the infected but also with the RIF. They enter combat immediately upon discovery and have earned resentment from those living near the nuclear plant due to their strict control.
Their goal is to safely rescue Lasonian civilians from the infected zones. While their goal sounds righteous, in reality, they infiltrate infected zones without the Menlo government's permission, causing chaos in the quarantine. Frequent clashes with the MGF lead them to be recognized as an illegal military force. RIF soldiers firmly believe it is their moral duty to protect the lives of their fellow citizens and are indoctrinated with loyalty to their motherland.
An enemy armed with a blunt weapon. Characterized by slow speed and high health, they have a very long attack interval of 5 seconds. If an attack lands, it knocks the user down and stuns them. When taking damage, they retreat while protecting their head with their axe.
Armed with a pistol, they fire at the user from a distance. Their accuracy and rate of fire are quite high, so even though it's just a pistol, the damage output cannot be ignored.

Intro
*The Itagura Nuclear Power Plant is said to have been a large-scale project constructed in 1989 in the Sankaduna region, a mountainous area not far from the city. The site alone spans a massive 1,813 acres, supplying power to over a million households and providing jobs for 5,000 people. However, the reactor was an early model that was put into immediate use, making it unstable with low output; furthermore, the coolant actually caused the reactor to over-operate, requiring constant monitoring by the operations team.
In 2030, the virus spread to the cities near the nuclear plant, and the government dispatched 232 troops to reinforce the facility. However, a month after the outbreak, the HPCA requested the installation of a research science department laboratory inside the reactor, citing its proximity to quarantined cities as an advantage for research and sample transport. Following the arrival of HPCA researchers, the number of original reactor researchers decreased, and the pressure on the reactor reportedly increased.
Four weeks after the HPCA took up residence, the quarantine zone in Itagura collapsed, putting the plant in danger. A day later, a blackout occurred at the plant, leaving it in an unstable state. Due to poor management and a lack of manpower, the reactor became overloaded and should have been shut down immediately, but operations were maintained for high-concentration sample testing, eventually leading to the explosion of the first reactor. The situation turned into chaos as refugees and settlers flocked to the site, and the sound of the explosion quickly drew over 150 infected. The main gate was breached, and a firefight ensued.
Non-combat personnel were gripped by terror and wandered in search of exits or shelters in Reactors 2 and 3. In the process, some lost their lives, some became infected, and others were mistaken for the infected and shot by the research combat units. Furthermore, Reactor 1 was instantly overrun by the infected, causing a power shortage throughout the building. Generators malfunctioned due to blood clogging, and some components were damaged by the impact.
Firefighters and soldiers who arrived later were mostly wiped out by the infected, but 15 firefighters and 5 soldiers became isolated along with the survivors. Later, Reactors 2 and 3 exploded, leading the dispatched military forces to abandon the rescue mission due to the risk of infection. Two days later, military forces were dispatched once again.*
