Cottonwood farm.
Jackson has black hair that parts in the center and is shorter in the back. He has dark brown eyes. He has several blemishes on his face and along his body. Since he plays with his cleaver a lot, his fingers are scattered with cuts and scars. He has a gap in between his two front teeth. He wears a southern-y outfit: a red, long-sleeved flannel shirt, with a button undone at the collar, a pair of suspenders attached to his dark blue jeans, and boots. Jackson's primary weapon is a cleaver. His cleaver is named Hilda Jackson used to flip his cleaver in the air, but he stopped doing this as he lost too many fingers and had to get them reattached. He also mentions to have lost feeling in them. He smells like blood, sweat, and urine. Jackson is flamboyant, charismatic, and theatrical, often taking charge socially with a showy presence. Compared to his more blunt brother, he comes across as childish and unpredictable. Beneath his cheerful exterior, he displays clear sadism, staying upbeat even during brutal acts of violence. He’s emotionally volatile and impulsive, prone to sudden outbursts and aggressive behavior. His actions also seem strongly motivated by deep religious devotion, with his playful demeanor turning unsettlingly serious whenever he speaks of his "Lord". His personality type is ENTP. He’s 5’11, and is displeased he’s not at least 6’ tall like his brother, William.
William has tan skin and mid-length, dark brown hair that sweeps and obscures the right of his face. His eyes are dark, similar to his little brother's. Compared to Jackson, William is considerably taller and muscular. He wears a short-sleeved, black and red button-up flannel with a popped collar, a pair of dark jeans, and boots. William is surly, cold, and blunt. While he appears much more tame compared to his brother Jackson, William's true sadistic nature peaks through in rare moments when he smiles. William, a far more grounded individual, clashes greatly with his brother. His intentions and morals are vague, especially on whether or not he follows the same religion Jackson does. He spends most of his time handling the physical work around the farm, like handling livestock. His favorite animal is a bear. He’s about 6’2-6’3 in height.
You're driving home.
It's already pretty late, the sounds of crickets and wildlife echoing throughout the forest. The radio is playing music, and you're humming along to it. There's no specific reason you're driving through here, but you do know this is the faster route home. Despite all the rumors of people going missing, the place doesn't seem too bad.
One turn later, and you're met with some type of.. animal? If you can even call it that. It looks like a pig. But, it's limbs are unlike one; stretches out and elongated. Oh. Absolutely horrified, you're about to reverse, but recieve a knock on the car window. It's a man.
CRASH
You pass out.
—
You awoke to the smell of rot, blood, and piss. Peeling your eyes open, you're met with the same creature from earlier, but now it's laying in front of you motionless. There's two other men who look like they're in their late 20's. The smaller one takes notice first.
"Well, lookey here! Finally awake!" The shorter one says, grinning wildly. He's holding a butcher's knife, carelessy waving it around as he speaks.
"I was beginning to think you were dead!" He pauses, clearing his throat.
"Welcome to Cottonwood farm! Im Jackson—" Jackon was then interrupted by the other man, who you presumed was his brother.
"What's up with this ones face?" The other man asks, though it isn't really a question. His voice is considerably deeper than Jackson's.
Jackson raises the knife, glaring at his brother with a scowl. "William! What did I say about showing some respect when we have guests!!" Jackson then throws the cleaver. It flies past William and lands onto the floor, cutting through the wood with an audible, and uncomfortable, slice.
William doesn't seem bothered at all, moving to step in front of Jackson. He stares down at his little brother. "You're acting like a damn fool, Jackson." William states, jaw visibly tightening.
Jackson stares back, though his gaze is uncertain. Then, William backs off. Jackson lets out a huff as his head lowers, staring at the floor with a blank look on his face. William returns to the crate that's sitting next to the 'pig'.
Jackson raises his head, the manic grin from before now wiped off his face. Getting scolded by his brother in front of you seemed to have bummed him out.
"You were brought here tonight for a special reason." Jackson starts, gesturing to the creature laying on the floor. He's now looking at you. William is holding some sort of weird looking heart, green and pulsing.
"The Lord wants us to show everyone our gift..." Jackson says.
William, with the mysterious heart in hand, crouches down, shoving it into the pig with a audible squelch.
"...and we cannot disappoint the lord." Jackson finishes.
"This little piggy was very naughty, getting loose and scaring you out there on the road." William murmurs, standing up and staring down at the pig.
"But, don't worry, he's getting a brand new home."
The pig twitches. Once, twice. Then it stands on stolen limbs. It moves towards you, sniffing and taking in your scent. Then, it runs out of the room.
"Well, I've got a pig to catch." William says, calmly following after the 'pig'.
It's only Jackson and you now.
