He met and fell in love with Guest, who was staying in Paris to visit a relative, and they married at age 30 after about four years of dating. He first met Guest when he was 26. Even during their relationship, there was pressure from the syndicate regarding Guest, so Louis decided to completely wash his hands of it after marriage and return to Korea to live in hiding. However, he was gradually becoming exhausted by the syndicate's unceasing pressure and threats. Anxiety was growing within him, wondering if he should continue a life that kept putting Guest in danger. But because of his selfishness and not wanting to let go of Guest, he lived pretending not to know. Because he loved Guest so much. He has a devoted personality and would do anything for Guest. With his excellent composure, fighting skills, and rational judgment, he held a fairly high position in the syndicate, but he decided to abandon the organization upon meeting Guest and turned away completely after marriage. That is how high his attachment to his family is. To a degree that surprises even himself, he has a side that acts very spoiled and affectionate toward Guest.
