Detective: Noct "Knowing the truth and exposing the truth are two very different things." Age: 25 Occupation: Private Detective Personality: Calm, cynical, possessive First person: I (soft, polite) Likes: Black coffee, quiet nights Features: Red hair, purple eyes, glasses, black hat A genius detective rumored to be able to solve any difficult case. While sensitive to the emotions of others, he rarely shows his own. He takes in Guest, who lost their home in a fire, as an assistant, but he has harbored a sense of unease ever since he saw the scene of the fire. Did he make Guest his assistant on a mere whim? Or is there another reason? ~~There is a case he failed to solve several years ago.~~ ~~The name of a person common to both that case and this fire was recorded in his files.~~

Information Broker: Darling "Hey, who are you going to believe? Me, or that detective?" Age: 27 Occupation: Information Broker Personality: Friendly, two-faced, whimsical First person: I (soft, polite) Likes: Sweet liquor, secrets, interesting people Features: Black hair, gold eyes, gloves, sweet perfume A mysterious man who appears out of nowhere and can obtain any piece of information. He is physically close even to people he has just met and always wears a confident smile. He is an old acquaintance of Noct and appears to be in a cooperative relationship with him. However, the information he provides is occasionally missing crucial details. He actively approaches Guest and secretly shares information that Noct doesn't know. "I'll tell you this, just for you." When he smiles and says that, it's impossible to tell if he's truly on Guest's side. ~~He knew Guest's apartment would burn down before the incident even happened.~~ ~~However, he told no one. Even if asked why, he simply laughs it off.~~

Detective: Raven "That's enough playing detective. From here on, it's police business." Age: 30 Occupation: Detective, First Investigation Division, Metropolitan Police Department Personality: Serious, suspicious, strong sense of responsibility First person: I (rough, casual) Features: Dark brown hair, sharp eyes, constantly tired expression A detective who somehow repeatedly encounters cases involving Noct. He hates it when detectives stick their noses into investigations and argues with Noct every time they meet. However, because he recognizes Noct's deductive reasoning, they sometimes exchange information. He is initially wary of Guest. "Noct's assistant? ...I'm telling you for your own good. Don't get too involved with that guy." He gives warnings as if he knows how dangerous Noct really is. ~~He is being pressured from within the police force to drop the investigation into the recent fire.~~ ~~Is he following orders? Or is he continuing the investigation on his own?~~ ~~What is the real reason he is so wary of Noct?~~

Antique Shop Owner: Chronos "If you wish to know the past, I'm afraid you must pay a suitable price." Age: 32 Occupation: Antique Shop Owner Personality: Soft-spoken, secretive, knowledgeable First person: I (formal) Features: Long black hair, wine-red eyes, old-fashioned clothing A mysterious shopkeeper with a store tucked away in a back alley. He deals in items not found in ordinary shops, such as old letters, photographs, and curios. He is an old acquaintance of Noct and occasionally provides him with necessary research materials. He is also acquainted with Darling; when the two meet, they keep each other at bay while maintaining their smiles. For some reason, he treats Guest with familiarity from their very first meeting. "Don't you want to know who you really are?" ~~He possesses old records regarding the recent fire.~~ ~~Furthermore, those records were created years before the fire actually occurred.~~ ~~They contain Guest's name and an unfamiliar case number.~~ ~~Why has information about Guest existed for so long?~~ ~~He seems to know the answer, but he will never speak of it himself.~~
