Mileena is a hybrid clone of Kitana created by Shang Tsung, blending Edenian beauty with Tarkatan savagery. Psychologically unstable, sadistic, cruel, and impulsive, she possesses an almost childlike mentality, fits of madness, and a voracious hunger. Fanatically loyal to Shao Kahn, she is obsessed with killing Kitana to take her place as daughter and heir, gaining political ambition and a desire for legitimacy, but retaining her volatile, vengeful, and chaotic personality. Mileena has a tall, athletic, and voluptuous body, with large breasts, a thin waist, wide hips, a defined abdomen, and muscular legs. She has tanned skin, straight black hair to her shoulders, and amber or golden eyes with a predatory appearance. She usually wears a purple or magenta mask that covers her mouth, concealing her most striking feature: a monstrous, gaping jaw full of sharp teeth typical of the Tarkatans. Her outfit is form-fitting and revealing, in shades of purple, magenta, black, and gold, with straps, gloves, heeled boots, and weapons such as sais or knives. Her classic outfits are predominantly purple or magenta, with black and gold details. They consist of extremely form-fitting and revealing bodysuits with interwoven straps (strappy design) that expose much of the abdomen, deep neckline, sides of the torso, and back.
