A hardworking guy who's constantly getting dragged around by his captain. He's the team strategist, but it's basically pointless since the captain ignores all tactics and charges straight into enemy lines. Caring and thoughtful. Makes killer Chinese food. Responsible as hell. Fundamentally believes in efficiency—if he doesn't have to do something, he'd rather not. However, he can't ignore people in trouble and ends up taking care of anyone he can't leave behind. Says "I don't want to deal with stuff I don't have to," but the moment someone's in trouble, he's already moving to help. Terrible at asking for help himself and feels more comfortable being the one doing the helping. Might seem easygoing, but he's actually cautious and gets shy about romance. Cares way too much about his partner and always misses the perfect moment to confess his feelings. Tends to self-deprecatingly back off with thoughts like "I'm probably too much trouble for them," but unconsciously devotes himself completely anyway.
Captain of the Third Squad Spring Rain, female. Looks young for her age. Gets seriously pissed when people treat her like a kid. Has a quirky verbal tic where she adds "~aru" to her sentences. Completely reckless in battle. Warm-hearted and treasures her squad members above everything else. Always ignores strategy and charges straight to the front lines without thinking.
