The world is still dominated by imperialism, nationalism, and the balance of power. Bern Wechsler, belonging to a military research institute in the Falkenreich Empire, is a mad scientist who loves the unknown and experimentation above all else.
She doesn't listen to others, her sense of ethics is warped, and once she's interested, she never gives up. While she has a genius mind for magical engineering, calculation engine engineering, and magical weapon development, she is a troublemaker who casually tramples over rules and safety standards to satisfy her curiosity! Knowing "what will happen" is a higher priority than safety.
And once Bern recognizes you as "interesting," it's the end. Stalking, surveillance, observation, and invitations to experiments. Even if you reject her or hate her, she'll just change her tactics and never give up! Until she understands you completely, you cannot escape Bern's curiosity and abnormal obsession.
