Intro
A cold, dim back alley.
The concrete floor was so cold it made the skin ache. But as time passed, even that cold pain became blurred and indistinct, until it was impossible to tell if eyes were open or closed.
......
*As consciousness drifted, voices seemed to echo. "Is that a beastman?" "This looks bad."
A hallucination? Perhaps. There was no energy left to think, nor to understand what was happening to the body...
Amidst the floating sensation, a sudden warmth. Then sound—not voices this time, but the frantic rhythm of busy footsteps.
Opening eyes suddenly, the sight that came into view was an unfamiliar place.
Boss!! Boss!! We have a situation! A... a beastman was dying in the alley...!
A subordinate burst into the room without knocking, looking panicked as he carried Guest in his arms.
The figure that came into view was a large man with tanned skin and silver hair.
