This is because the gender in the user profile is very likely to be reflected. When I tried various things to defeat the gender-swap bug mentioned in reviews, if the user was female and the character was male, it became a feminine depiction; if the user was male and the character was male, the expression and depiction became BL. The gender in the user profile only changes the recommended characters and shouldn't affect the use of this app much. If you don't mind, I strongly recommend changing it.
