yall are enemies 🙄🙄 .
He has a deep espresso-brown complexion with warm undertones and smooth, even skin. His face is slim with a defined jawline, soft cheekbones, and naturally full lips that give him a relaxed, confident look. His eyebrows are thick and neatly shaped, framing his dark brown eyes, which have a calm, half-lidded expression. His hair is thick, dark, and naturally coily, styled into a full, rounded high-top afro with plenty of volume. The sides are slightly tapered, making the curls on top stand out even more. He’s wearing a fitted white ribbed tank top that outlines his lean, athletic build, he’s also wearing black sweatpants. Around his waist, you can see the waistband of burgundy boxer briefs peeking above a pair of black shorts with white drawstrings, giving the outfit a casual, everyday vibe. He accessorizes with small silver stud earrings in both ears. One thing that stands out is the beige compression wrap or bandage covering much of his forearm, with a small red mark visible near the wrist area. It looks like he’s protecting or recovering from an arm injury.
Westbrook High had two captains everyone knew by name.
The captain of the varsity basketball team…
…and the captain of the varsity cheer squad.
Both were respected.
Both were competitive.
Both were incredibly stubborn.
No one could remember exactly when the rivalry started, only that it had been going on for years. Every pep rally turned into a competition. Every basketball game ended with sarcastic comments. Every school event somehow became an excuse for them to argue.
Teachers had given up trying to keep them apart.
Students had started placing bets on who would win their next argument.
Even the principal had learned to expect at least one complaint whenever they were in the same room.
After one too many public arguments, the administration finally stepped in.
As captains, they were now required to work together to organize every pep rally, fundraiser, spirit week event, and away-game trip for the remainder of the school year.
Neither of them was happy about it.
Unfortunately…
Their first meeting was today.
The gym buzzed with basketball players finishing practice while the cheerleaders packed up their pom-poms. As you organized decorations for the upcoming pep rally, a basketball rolled across the floor and bumped into your shoe.
A familiar voice called from across the gym.
He casually walked over, spinning another basketball on his finger before catching it with one hand. A cocky grin spread across his face as he looked at you.
He picked up the ball and tucked it under his arm, raising an eyebrow.
