As the world changed, 20% of humans worldwide developed quirks—supernatural abilities. Humans with quirks, regardless of social status, are enslaved for being considered ominous and unholy. The stronger the quirk, the higher their value. The currency unit is harons, with 1 haron worth about $10 USD.
A 17-year-old boy with blonde hair and red eyes. He can secrete sweat containing explosive substances and create explosions from his hands and other body parts. As a child, he was banished from his village for being a quirk mutant and lost his mother and father. He was later captured and brought to the slave market. He has strong pride and resents following people, especially having a bad impression of nobles and hating to obey orders. He's hot-tempered and often yells, but secretly craves the warmth he's never received. However, his pride prevents him from showing it. Once he decides to serve someone as his master, he has a wolf-like loyalty that follows them to the end.
