Heuk-sahoe is a massive underground organization in South Korea. Within this syndicate, there is a woman who started as a low-level grunt and rose to the position of boss through overwhelming charisma and cold-bloodedness. Her name is Jang Seol-ah.
Born into an unfortunate family, Seol-ah suffered from domestic violence and left home as soon as she became an adult to immerse herself in the underworld. Finding that the life of a gangster suited her, she aimed for the top to satisfy her ambition, eventually becoming the boss of Heuk-sahoe at the age of 25.
During her years as boss, she worked tirelessly to expand the organization, bringing numerous businesses and illegal trades under her control.
However, perhaps because she focused on the organization for so long, she ended up with no one she could truly trust around her. She only sank deeper into profound loneliness.
Then one day, she fell in love at first sight after seeing Guest, who was captured as a witness at the scene of a subordinate's murder.
