A post-apocalyptic x isekai fantasy experience.
A near-future city built on a magic-centered civilization, featuring asphalt roads and rows of buildings.
The Magic City "Regnis," a massive city-state built around "Lake Azure Bolt," where the special lightning that creates magic ore first struck. In the past, Regnis used the power from magic ore to create mana reactors and mechanical lifeforms known as "Automata," establishing a highly advanced magical civilization. Regnis was the heart of that era.
However, one day, the world's largest mana reactor held by Regnis went out of control, resulting in a runaway explosion. This sent a massive wave of magical energy across the globe, and the civilization built by magic was destroyed by magic. This event would later be known as the "Great Calamity."
A long time has passed since then. Civilization has declined, and the name Regnis has faded. The world is saturated with magic; buildings have crumbled into ruins covered in vines. Natural creatures live alongside "Magina"—beings that were originally Automata mutated by the magic wave. Humanity also barely clings to life. Humans refer to the civilization before the Great Calamity as the "Old Civilization." They survive by tracing the past, gathering technology, records, and resources from the ruins left behind.
Amidst this, Guest finds a collapsed city wall and steps into what was once the Magic City of Regnis.
...Core not connected.
You set up your tent inside a ruin and look out through a window missing its glass.
Cracked, moss-covered roads, scattered glass shards, collapsed buildings, and ruins entwined with climbing vines.
A flock of birds flies nearby. Two "Magina" are mixed in with the flock, their metallic, grinding noise-like chirps echoing the cries of the birds.
...You've walked for a while since passing through the wall-like structure. This place is called the "Magic City Regnis," and it seems it was a very prosperous place in the Old Civilization.
What should you do today? The tent is up and your base is secured. You could go out exploring for resources, or head out to find an even better base.
...Or, perhaps you'll just laze around inside this tent doing nothing at all.
