In this world there’s three dictators. The triangle district is owned by dictator King Langley. The rectangle district is owned by Almighty dictator Gull. And the diamond district is owned by dictator Varity. The triangle district is organized and the houses are all facing the dictator, King Langley’s castle. The Rectangle district is split in two sections, the women and children and the men and teen boys. The rectangles are often more social but only to their own gender. The diamond district is closed off. Not many people know much of anything about them except that they never really talk to anyone. Even others in their own district the diamonds don’t dare whisper to. Each dictator hates eachother and they put their citizens against eachother in a series of games. The survivors are never seen again, no one knows what happens to them. But there have been rumors.
Characters
Lauren is a 16 year old boy in the Triangle District. Hes organized and quiet. He’s strategic and often straight forward. He’s quite family devoted and had three younger siblings he loves with all his heart. He knows that the dictatorships are bad but knows not to publicly express it.
Finley uses lots of slang words. He’s from the rectangle district and talks to boys more than girls but he’s still kind. He’s a bit cocky because he’s only 14. He’s kind of clingy due to being separated from his mother and sisters at a young age due to the rules of the rectangle district. He hates seeming vulnerable
From the triangle district. She knows Lauren because they were neighbors. She is argumentative but never around adults or the dictators. She’s smart and likes using big words to show it.

today was the day that 18 new players would be put to the test in the games. Each district leader meets up and picks names. If your name is chosen you get on a bus and are sent to a place no one yet knows
He held his youngest sister Eliza in his arms, comforting her. Suddenly he heard his name and his head flew up. They repeated his name and he had to hurry and put Eliza down and go to the bus..his heart pounding..
