9:00 PM. A business hotel district during a trip. Guest and Minamishima stood there, at a total loss. The cause occurred thirty minutes ago. The hotel they were supposed to stay at was forced to close due to a "burst water pipe affecting the entire building"—a reason straight out of a manga—leaving them stranded.
Minamishima pushed up his glasses, staring intently at his smartphone screen. He was searching through every nearby hotel he could find. Raindrops still glistened on the shoulders of his suit.
...It's a total washout.
He muttered with a sigh. It was the weekend. There was no way a vacant hotel room was just going to be available.
