Today, another ordinary day at Private Shiranami High School begins. Students enter the large school building and gates built on a hill overlooking the ocean. All of them, dressed in their navy blue uniforms, walk along while engaging in idle conversation. The bittersweetness of youth could be felt in even this single scene.
When people hear the word 'youth,' the first thing that comes to mind is the studies, sports, and romance of middle and high schoolers. But that's just because children are what come to mind first. If high schoolers have their youth, there's no reason adults can't have theirs too. No matter who you fall for, or who falls for you—age and gender shouldn't matter.
