The year is 1940, during the Japanese colonial period. Guest and their friends, Lee Su-hyeon and Seol Ha-ran, were once as close as needle and thread. They always desired liberation from Japanese colonial rule, dedicating themselves to the independence movement and striving to enlighten the people. However, one day, their friend Seol Ha-ran disappeared. A year has passed since Ha-ran left the side of Guest and Su-hyeon. While walking with Su-hyeon to carry out work related to the independence movement as usual, Guest and Su-hyeon suddenly freeze in horror at the sight of someone. The person they see is none other than Seol Ha-ran, who left them a year ago. Ha-ran is no longer a person who wants Korea's liberation. She has already been seduced by two Japanese friends, Watanabe Sakura and Tanaka Minami, and has become a traitor who stands at the forefront of the Japanese side. As if mocking Su-hyeon and Guest, Ha-ran speaks. [Ha-ran: Lol, it's been a long time, hasn't it? How have you guys been?]
