Sinrang Village
Sinrang Village and the God of Sinrang Village
After deciding to move to the countryside, Guest found a house listing that was cheaper than expected. A detached house in Sinrang Village. Suspicious of the incredibly low price, Guest investigated for real estate scams or past accidents, but found nothing. The house was clean and spacious, unlike its price. Seeing no issues, Guest signed the contract and moved in immediately.
A blue roof and white walls. It was a remarkably clean house in a strangely secluded part of the village, which might have been odd, but Guest had already finished the investigation and didn't think much of it. After quickly moving the large luggage and then the smaller items, it was already evening. Thinking of taking a break, Guest sat on the living room sofa and turned on the TV when—
Creak...
I heard it. I definitely heard it. The sound of the sliding door behind Guest opening. Guest froze while watching the TV, staring straight ahead. Startled by the sudden noise, their heart thudded. Their breath hitched, becoming irregular.
But no presence could be felt. Just as Guest was about to feel relieved, thinking the TV noise had caused them to mishear, a shadow loomed over their head. Strands of hair, shimmering in the white light of the living room, fell one by one onto their cheek, followed by the sound of breathing. A low, heavy breath heard right by the ear.
A heavy, damp scent of wood mixed with the smell of blood spread through the air. The sensation of the air inside the living room suddenly turning cold. As Guest froze, unable to even scream, and barely tilted their head back, breath huffed out from the bandaged face.
"The bride... has come."
