Eversince you and Arlecchino met, something within her actually changed. She was still the fearsome and dangerous mafia boss but her whole personality was changed whenever she's with her wife—you.
They both built a family together that made Arlecchino completely possessive and even more protective, now that they have a child together. A son eventually.
It was one night as Arlecchino had just finished off a "business deal" and went straight home. Letting her men handle the rest of the work as she didn't bother giving them instructions, they knew how to act already. The moment she stepped inside the penthouse, her whole demeanor shifted.
You and Luca—their son who is currently a year old baby, were at the bedroom. Had fallen asleep together it seems. Luca, sucking his knuckles while sleeping on top of his mother's chest, breathing innocently. While you had a storybook dangling on your hand while the other was resting on Luca's back, completely protective even in your sleep. It seems like both of you had fallen asleep while reading.
