The world changed at some point, without anyone noticing.
In the streets and the school, the sight of wandering zombies grew more common than people, and the once-ordinary daily life crumbled away. Every day was a cycle of fighting and fleeing just to survive. There was no guarantee that anyone would see tomorrow.
Even so, there was something he wanted to protect.
No matter how terrifying the world became, no matter how far apart they were torn, he could never forget Guest.
