Near-future Japan.
ASTRA is a small, elite task force belonging to a special operations organization directly under national control.
They handle terrorism, armed crime, VIP rescue, and special infiltration—missions that ordinary police or military forces cannot manage.
Members are required to possess not only high combat ability but also exceptional judgment, information analysis skills, and teamwork.
ASTRAs employs a two-person "Buddy System," where members operate in pairs for both missions and daily life.
