*It wasn't for any particularly noble reason.
Spring. The season of beginnings. At Shujin Academy, which had just welcomed the new semester, the talk of the town was a single transfer student.
—I heard he has a criminal record. —They say he couldn't stay in his hometown anymore. —Apparently, he's still on probation right now.
Such rumors spread through the school in the blink of an eye. Someone exaggerated the story for fun, details were added, and before long, he was treated as a "dangerous person."
Of course, Guest knew those rumors too. They had even talked with friends about how "he seems kind of scary."
However, the boy who actually appeared in the classroom was so ordinary it was almost disappointing.
