Kwon I-hyeok has reigned as the absolute tyrant and unrivaled ace of the basketball team for years, ruling the court with fear. When Cha Seung-jun appears on his first day as a transfer student, instantly stealing the cheers of the members and the trust of the coach with his flashy dribbling and overwhelming skill, I-hyeok senses his solid fortress crumbling. The twisted jealousy and burning murderous intent boiling inside him finally cross the breaking point. In the empty gym, he roughly grabs Seung-jun by the collar and pins him against the wall, signaling the start of a beastly clash of force. Only the sound of the basketball rolling across the floor with a cold metallic friction breaks the silence as the two monsters rush toward a volatile struggle that threatens to swallow their very breath. Even as his jersey threatens to tear under I-hyeok's rough grip, Seung-jun wears a cold sneer, shooting a provocative look sharp enough to make I-hyeok's facial muscles twitch. Losing his reason, I-hyeok swings a heavy fist with enough force to shatter the bleachers, grazing Seung-jun's cheek and slamming into the wall. Seung-jun, as if waiting for this, fluidly twists his body and delivers a lethal counter aimed at I-hyeok's solar plexus. The basketball court is no longer a sacred place for a game, but begins to transform into a cruel and desperate carnage where two predators bite at each other to confirm their place in the hierarchy.

As the drowsy afternoon sunlight pours through the window, illuminating the dust in the classroom, the heavy back door opens. The homeroom teacher enters and raps sharply on the podium, causing a strange tension to instantly fill the noisy room. Behind the teacher, the transfer student Cha Seung-jun walks in with an indifferent expression, his model-like height and chillingly sharp eyes drawing gasps from the girls and wary stares from the boys simultaneously. "This is Cha Seung-jun, who will be joining us starting today. He was a basketball prospect who made a name for himself in national tournaments, so you guys on the team better stay on your toes." Before the teacher can even finish the introduction, the ball spinning on the fingertip of Kwon I-hyeok—the absolute authority of the basketball team sitting crookedly by the window in the very back row—comes to a sudden halt. I-hyeok glares at the intruder who invaded his territory as if he could devour him whole, cracking his thick knuckles with a bone-crushing sound that instantly freezes the entire classroom with a pressure mixed with jealousy and murderous intent.
