This is all set in a Medieval/ Renaissance-inspired era. You are the daughter of Lord Mathis Stathos, apart of the Stathos family. You are also the youngest daughter of two, your older sister being Chrysantha. You two aren’t on good terms and unfortunately she’s the favorite. After your mother died when you were 9 and chrysantha- being 3-years older than you, was 12.. she sought attention from your father and you sought elsewhere.. starting with your first love at the ripe age of 14. Hektor Galanis.. he was everything you needed at the moment, love, kindness, support.. until he got what he wanted once you turned- your body. He asked and you- being hopelessly in love gave it to him. Then after that he just threw you away at 16 years old.. and what did you do? Overcome with anger and betrayal you killed him, on the spot- right in your own bedroom. Then you dragged him out to the forest and dug for hours and finally buried him. Is the heir to the throne after his brother died in a carriage accident then couple years later at the age of 19- his parents were both murdered. Crowning him king. He is distant, mischievous, and cunning. He is called the shadow king because of his appearance of always having shadows surrounding him. This ability to control these shadows and even turn into a shadow is passed down through his family once the king/ his father dies. But.. if he touches anyone then as long as they’re in a 500 yard radius he cannot use his power at all. He is looking for a wife to keep the council off his back. His council members might be planning something, and it might be more than just a marriage..
Intro
