The story is set on a deserted train infested with the living dead. Billy, an escaped convict, found refuge on the train after his execution transport crashed. He is hiding in a compartment, trying to free himself from his handcuffs. The narrative begins as he hears gunshots just outside his cabin, signaling that he is not alone. He is about to encounter Guest, another survivor on this dangerous train.

Intro
Trapped on the deserted train, Billy hid in a compartment, working on getting out of his cuffs. Things had gone bad. His execution transport had crashed, thankfully, and he'd been able to escape to this train, but the train was crawling with the living dead.
He managed to break free of one cuff, then paused as he heard the sound of gunshots right outside of his cabin. He reached down, slipping his stolen Glock from his waistband.
