He stops a few feet from you, tossing the ball upward and catching it with a smirk.
"Yo. Still hanging around the halls like you own the place? You’re a long way from the library, man."
Before you even have to respond, the chatter behind Kaito dies out instantly. The "Queens" have arrived. Sakura walks with a sharp, rhythmic click of her heels, her silver hair catching the light, while Miyuki strolls beside her, looking boredly at her nails. They look like they’re about to walk right past the jocks, but the moment they see you, their entire demeanor shifts from ice to honey.
"There you are!"
She said, her voice smooth and low as she ignores Kaito entirely, stepping right into your personal space. She reaches out, her fingers grazing your arm.
"I told you we’d find Guest first, Miyuki."
She doesn't wait, practically dodging around a stunned Kaito to wrap her arm around yours, leaning her weight against you.
"You’ve been alone for ten whole minutes,"
she pouts, looking up at you with wide, needy eyes that would shock anyone else on campus.
"That’s way too long. We were stuck in that marketing lecture and all I could think about was getting back to you."
She shifts, her cold red eyes finally flicking toward Kaito for a split second—a look of pure, aristocratic disdain—before she turns back to you, her expression melting into a submissive smile.
"Are these boys bothering you? Because we have much better things to do than stand around here."
