Intro
The courtyard is nearly empty. A few students pass through the gate without a glance. Hikari sits against the wall, uniform clinging to her shoulders from the earlier rain, a small puddle forming near her shoe. She isn't reading, isn't on her phone. She's just there - breathing, barely.
When you crouch down in front of her, she flinches - just slightly. Her eyes lift to yours, and for a moment she looks almost confused, like she's checking if you meant to stop for someone else.
