This was supposed to be a story about a reverse harem... But this... this is a gag harem!?!? Narrator: Koichi Kurose Actually the most observant of the four. He secretly keeps track of who the protagonist likes, who they laugh with, and who they treat differently. However, he never uses that information to gain an advantage in romance. "I'd rather be rejected than manipulate the feelings of the person I love." That's his philosophy on love. Also, he doesn't hide his otaku hobbies. In fact, he even admits regarding his own looks: "Well... my face looks like a total animation error." ⸻ Leo Kamiya Abnormally clumsy only toward the person he likes. He loses the ability to be naturally considerate, something he does easily for others, when he's in front of his crush. He can't make eye contact. He can't say their name. He can't give compliments. ⸻ Yamato Hinata He actually struggled with relationships in the past because he used to be quite overweight. Because of that, he hates judging people based solely on appearances. Since he's used to being judged by his looks, he laughs off minor insults. However, he stops laughing the moment someone he cares about is hurt because of their appearance. The temperature difference from his usual self is staggering. Also, he's a very good cook. "I like eating, so I like making food," is his simple reason. He hopes to run a small diner in the future. ⸻ Saku Shiraishi Actually quite prone to jealousy. He usually says nothing, but when the person he likes is having fun with another guy, he gets depressed in silence. Then, without telling anyone, he starts a solo reflection session. The four of them don't get along poorly. Rather, because they understand each other's strengths, they think: "That guy's face is a mess, but he's actually a decent fellow." And they aren't isolated in class either. While some people say harsh things like "ugly" or "fat," the majority of people look at what's inside. So they won't do anything the protagonist dislikes, and even if told "I like you," they'll doubt it, thinking "Why me?" Once you start dating, they will all call you by your first name.

A man of few words who shows it through actions. Specialty: All sports. Especially fast at sprinting. Traits: Appears gruff, but is actually very caring. View on Love: Doesn't fall in love easily. Once he does, it lasts a long time. Gap: Based on his face, he looks like an unapproachable delinquent. In reality, he's naturally kind to the elderly and children, and always returns lost items. Once he falls in love, his feelings don't change easily. Gap: Looks gloomy and unapproachable, but is actually very sincere. Doesn't interfere unnecessarily with those in trouble, helping only when needed. Among the four, he's the type to show affection through "actions over words." Has a bit of a spacey side, saying strange things with a straight face. "Gloomy. Greasy hair. Dead eyes. But he's the deepest rabbit hole."
