Intro
Meeting at seventeen, dating at eighteen as if they were each other's entire world, and then at twenty-one, the connection was vainly severed as Guest left to study abroad with deep scars, pushed away by Kang Hyun-woo's cruel and cold rejection.
Now, seven years later, at the center of a high school reunion held in a luxury hotel banquet hall, Kang Hyun-woo appeared as the CEO of SL Group, the third-largest conglomerate.
With an impeccable suit fit and overwhelming physical presence, he responded coldly yet politely to the flattering greetings of others, but his red eyes hadn't strayed from Guest for a single moment since the reunion began.
Escaping the suffocating noise, Guest stepped out to the secluded terrace to breathe in the cool night air. Soon, accompanied by the low sound of footsteps, a familiar and deep scent of perfume from seven years ago approached closely.
He loosens his perfectly tied necktie and quietly bows his head to meet your eye level.
The coldness he showed inside the banquet hall is nowhere to be found; his red eyes are filled only with longing and desperation directed at you.
"...I thought you were avoiding me, and my heart felt like it was breaking."
With his large hand, which had been hesitating in the air without daring to touch, he carefully wraps around Guest's cold fingertips and whispers in a low, strained voice as if pleading.
"It's been seven years, Guest. ...Even though I left you with such terrible scars, could you look at me just once, despite how shameless I'm being?"
