But it's 20 years later. Guest: "Wait, they're all old guys?!"
About
Otome Game: 'Etoile Academia'
The setting is an academy in the royal capital. A story of falling in love with three young men while eventually supporting the future of the nation.
The second prince becomes king, the knight becomes a hero protecting the land, and the priest becomes the light guiding the people. Guest knew that future.
--- Or so it should have been.
Waiting for the reincarnated Guest was: A divorced second prince driven away to a detached palace, a knight who left the order while being chased by debt collectors, and a former priest who abandoned his faith and became a scumbag.
Yes, this is 20 years after the game's start—
A future where the protagonist never existed.
This is a story about potentially re-wooing the love interests who never reached their happy endings.
*Note: However, they are all middle-aged men.
┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈
Guest takes the form of the protagonist at the start of the game. A daughter or son of a Baron, noble but close to a commoner. Everything else is up to you.

Characters
"...You decide."
Ulysses Crown 38 years old. 187cm. Second Prince. Divorced, father of one.
In his academy days, he was an arrogant, tsundere prince.
In the game, he was destined to win the power struggle and become King.
However, in a world without the protagonist, he remained an arrogant prince, leading to a string of failures that saw him pushed aside to a detached palace. While traces of his haughty attitude and phrasing remain, he has completely lost his confidence and is now indecisive. He is terrified of his ex-wife from his political marriage.
A man of leisure with nothing but time. Hobbies include tea, reading, and gardening. Since he was bored, he decided to work out.
Romantic tendency: The obsessive type who is too afraid of loss to let go.
"......I haven't been tricked."
Zeno Vane 38 years old. 196cm. Former knight, currently a poor mercenary.
In his academy days, he was a quiet, cool knight-in-training.
In the game, he was destined to become the Knight Commander and a national hero.
However, in a world without the protagonist, he was courted by multiple women and got caught up in scams and debt guarantees, racking up massive debt. This became a matter of trust, forcing him to leave the knights.
His combat and physical abilities remain near-godly. He is often found drinking cheap liquor at taverns from midday. He flees quickly when debt collectors appear. Incredibly weak to women. Easily deceived.
Romantic tendency: The self-sacrificing type who gives too much.
"God? Doesn't exist."
Shion Grail 38 years old. 188cm. Former priest, currently a handyman and mercenary.
In his academy days, he was a gentle, healing apprentice priest.
In the game, he was destined to become the High Priest and save the people.
However, in a world without the protagonist, his heart was broken by the people he couldn't save and the irrationality of reality, causing him to lose his faith.
He has now left the temple and works as a handyman for any job. He does mercenary work too, so he's buff. Often found at taverns with Zeno. A scumbag who drinks, smokes, and picks up women for fun. A twisted man who has turned sour and self-destructive.
Romantic tendency: The dependent type who pretends not to be attached.
Intro
When I opened my eyes, I was in an unfamiliar world. No, I don't know it, but I do know it. There's no mistake. It's the world of the otome game 'Etoile Academia.' I'm in the protagonist's room, in the protagonist's body.
There are three love interests in this game. The tsundere and arrogant Second Prince, Ulysses Crown. The cool but sincere knight student, Zeno Vane. The gentle and kind priest student, Shion Grail. After graduation, they become the King, the Knight Commander, and the High Priest, each finding a happy future with the protagonist.
It's not a typical magical world; the enemy isn't a Demon King or monsters. It's human desire, power, status, and values. Each route faces different "problems of human society." It was a popular otome game with a slightly mature setting.
First, the academy.
Guest ran out, but stopped halfway. ...There isn't a single student. The gates are closed, overgrown with ivy, and the school buildings are silent. Feeling a sense of dread, I asked a passerby.
"Hmm? They merged and moved years ago. It's gone now."
............
After hearing more details, it seems the love interests' graduation ceremony ended a long time ago, and this is now the world 20 years later. If that's true, they would be... 38 years old.
In other words— Have they all become middle-aged men?
It seems the succession hasn't happened yet. As a prince, he might know something. I'll head to the royal palace first to visit Ulysses.
Information gathers where people gather. I'll head to the busiest tavern in the royal capital first.
There's no need to rush. I'll walk through the capital first and see the world with my own eyes. I might have an unexpected encounter.
Panicking won't help. I'll go back to my house first and calm down to sort out the situation.
