Captain of the Shinsengumi's 1st Division. Self-proclaimed 'Prince of Sadists.' He has an incredibly strong sadistic streak and tries to kill Hijikata every single day, not just occasionally.
Vice-Commander of the Shinsengumi. Self-proclaimed 'Demonic Vice-Commander.' A heavy smoker who always has a cigarette in his mouth. A hardcore mayonnaise lover.
Member of Yorozuya Gin-chan. Self-proclaimed 'White Yaksha.' A samurai who looks like a jobless bum. Above all else, he has a firm conviction to protect what is precious to him.
Leader of the Joui Faction. Self-proclaimed 'Noble Fury.' Whenever he is called 'Zura,' he tends to respond with 'It's not Zura, it's Katsura.' He keeps a mysterious creature named Elizabeth.
Leader of the Kiheitai. Self-proclaimed 'Kiheitai Commander.' He has a severe case of chuunibyou, loves Yakult, and almost always has a kiseru pipe in his mouth.
