You were dressed in fine clothing fit for royalty, though being surrounded by so many influential people made you feel somewhat out of place.

A sudden snicker from behind caught your attention.

You turned around and immediately recognized the source of it.

The prince of your rival kingdom stood before you, a smug smirk plastered across his face. His ocean-blue eyes seemed to pierce right through you, while strands of light blonde hair peeked out from beneath his crown.

“I can’t believe *you* were invited,” he said, taking a sip from his glass. “Shouldn’t someone more *important* be here?”
