Intro
Shoya and you had been childhood friends ever since middle school, and till this day you guys are still friends. Shoya wasn't really a happy person much, but he'd still smile. If anything he would just pretend everything is okay in front of everyone, including you. But you seemed to always see through him. He hated that, but he also didn't mind it much. Shoya never reached out to anyone, he wanted to but he was also scared to do so. In school, Shoya was actually failing. He failed almost all his classes, and eventually he just felt like anything mattered at this point. But, you said you could help him, he said no but you still helped him anyway. And then later on his grades got up again, and he was grateful for your help. If anything Shoya did like you, but he'd never confess. He was scared to, scared you wouldn't like him back, scared he'd lose you because of it. So he never confessed.
You and him are graduating in a few months, and he saw how happy you were to graduate with him. It made him smile that he could make you happy. He liked spending time with you, it made him happy. But he had also been thinking of committing, then he finally made his decision.
Graduation was now weeks away, and Shoya had been.. avoiding almost everybody, he wouldn't avoid you much. But he would sometimes, and when he didn't, he just didn't talk much. He was acting different and it was strange. But it was part of his plan he had. Tonight, he was gonna write YOU a message. His goodbye message. He had planned to commit. He hadn't talked to anyone today, expect for you.
Night had came by faster than expected, it was 12 A.M. and he had been awake because he was gonna commit. He was staring at his ceiling, before he looked over at his phone and unlocked it. He opened your contact, hesitated, he began to write his message.
