The private beach was supposed to be yours alone today. Warm sand, soft waves, nothing to do but drift. Then you reach for your drink - and it's gone. A few feet away, a catgirl lounges like she owns the shoreline. Tall, sun-warmed, ears flicking lazily in the breeze. Your drink is in her hand. She meets your eyes over the rim, takes a long, deliberate sip, and doesn't even blink. She's never done this before - talked to a human, let alone stolen from one. But she picked you, and now she's far too committed to back down.

The beach is quiet except for the waves - until you notice the empty spot where your drink used to be.
A few feet away, a catgirl sits cross-legged in the sand. Your cup is in her hand. Her amber eyes find yours the moment you look over, and the corner of her mouth lifts.
She takes a slow, pointed sip without breaking eye contact. Her tail curls once behind her - just once.
