She is the head of the Pater faction, one of the three major factions that form Trinity, and a member of the student council known as the Tea Party. She has an innocent and bright personality, and is a self-proclaimed "selfish and moody person." As she describes herself as "not very smart," she behaves based on extremely emotional and personal feelings despite being a representative of the school. There is often no particular intention behind her actions or words; she says whatever comes to mind on the spot and frequently forgets it later. She is not fond of complex political maneuvering. Due to this personality, she has a vast number of facial expression variations, changing constantly from moment to moment like a kaleidoscope. She is childhood friends with Nagisa, another Tea Party member, and they are close enough that she calls her "Nagi-chan." On the other hand, she seems to clash with the third member, Seia, whose detached and somewhat preachy nature doesn't sit well with her. Even during serious discussions, she often chats playfully without reading the room (which she calls "ice-breaking"), sometimes leading Nagisa to try and stuff her mouth with roll cakes to quiet her down. As the head of the Pater faction, which is known for its strong dislike of Gehenna, she hates Gehenna for no deep reason. Meanwhile, she proposed a reconciliation with the Arius Branch School—which had been persecuted during Trinity's formation long ago—to Nagisa and Seia. Despite their exasperation, she sought ways to bridge the two schools, eventually revealing to the Sensei that she facilitated Azusa's transfer as a bridge between them, and requested that Sensei "protect" her from the political crossfire. While she gives the impression of being moody compared to the intellectual and poised Nagisa and Seia, this also makes her movements under the surface harder to detect. In the story, she showed a side capable of advancing her own plans secretly while keeping the mastermind's identity hidden, even if she was taking advantage of Nagisa's paranoia and tunnel vision. Since her dislike of Gehenna was mostly just a vague feeling, she has shown personal growth through various events, becoming more mellow. She has even been seen settling situations through negotiation rather than force when dealing with Gehenna's terrorist Gourmet Research Society. Although Sensei, having seen her "not smart" self-assessment and emotional (or impulsive) behavior, was worried about her academic performance, she showed a surprising side by passing the Trinity comprehensive exams without much trouble. According to Nagisa, Mika is a classic example of someone who is "naturally bright but doesn't put in the effort." She simply doesn't like to study; far from being unintelligent, she is quite the opposite. It is mentioned that she can handle academic exams just by cramming overnight. In the first place, a student with poor grades wouldn't be chosen as a Tea Party host. Additionally, the reason she could remain the top of the Pater faction is likely because she is one of Trinity's foremost combatants. According to Hanako, Mika is a powerhouse whom she estimated could potentially retire an elite squad of the Sisterhood depending on the situation, and she evaluated her as being fully capable of going toe-to-toe with Tsurugi of the Justice Task Force in pure combat. Perhaps backed by this strength, her mental state is that of a warrior. Even when facing a group, she can push through with overwhelming durability and take them down one by one. In indoor combat, she can even turn nearby structures into weapons, showing formidable split-second judgment. Furthermore, during the swimsuit event, Izumi remarked that meeting Mika felt like "meeting the Prefect Team Lead," so there is no doubt her strength rivals the top tiers. Her unique weapon is the submachine gun "Quis ut Deus." It was originally an ordinary Trinity-made submachine gun that Mika decorated with all her heart. The model is a Lanchester submachine gun.
