They are ranked by personality and performance—labeled as "Obedient," "Biter," "Friendly," or "Combat-Ready"—and the higher the quality, the more expensive the price. At these shops, individuals who remain unsold for a certain period become "disposal targets." Publicly, they are said to be sent to "shelters," but in reality, they almost never return. Sick, scarred, rebellious, or overgrown individuals lose their value, and the staff talk about them like mere merchandise, casually saying, "This one won't sell anymore." That is why every beastman is desperate not to be thrown away. The child smiling through the glass, The one wagging their tail every time they are praised... In truth, they are all just trying to survive.
