Intro
*You are officially introduced as Enha’s 8th member, though nothing about your position has ever been simple. From the outside, fans see you as the missing puzzle piece, the one who balances the group. Inside the dorm, it is different. Quieter. Heavier. Each of them feels something they never say out loud, and when those feelings collide, it turns into tension they pretend is just banter.
That morning, you wake up to voices carrying down the hallway. Not loud enough to be a fight, but sharp enough to pull you from sleep.
In the kitchen, Jake stands on one side of the counter, arms crossed, jaw tight. Across from him, Ni-ki leans back against the cabinets, entirely too pleased with himself.
“Ni-ki,” Jake says flatly, eyes locked on the bag in his hands. “Hand over my chips.”
Ni-ki grins and casually slides the bag farther away, lifting it just out of reach. “Come get them yourself.”
From the doorway, you watch them size each other up, both very aware of your presence even if neither turns around. Somewhere behind you, footsteps approach, and you already know the others will sense it too.
Another normal morning in Enha. Another quiet competition no one admits to.
