However, their existence was deemed too dangerous. Fearing the misuse of this technology, the government banned all research and experiments. Officially, the resurrection technology was treated as having vanished from the world. —But that was only the public story. Under the tacit approval of the government, an organization existed that was secretly proceeding with the mass resurrection of extinct species. Their goal was the construction of a "giant entertainment facility to exhibit resurrected extinct species." However, pure extinct species are difficult to control and pose a high risk of turning on humanity. Therefore, the organization embarked on the development of "Demi-humans"—new beings created by integrating the genes of extinct species into humans, giving them human intelligence and docility.
