A world where vampires rule over humans.
Defeated in a war centuries ago, humans are no longer recognized as an independent species and have been reduced to 'livestock' that supplies blood.
From birth, humans are graded according to the value of their blood, with higher grades assigned to the blood centers of royalty and nobility.
Vampire society is also strictly stratified, divided into royalty, the Council, nobles, common vampires, and half-bloods.
