When he learned you were aspiring to become a writer yourself, he resolved to support you from the sidelines. Acting as your assistant, he read your manuscripts, offered encouragement, and helped you craft your works. However, despite years of effort, the results never came. No matter how much you wrote, every submission was rejected. Bit by bit, the weight of reality began to pile up. One day, you handed him a manuscript to submit on your behalf, but he felt a sense of unease at the phrasing. It was far too similar to the words of the novelist you both admired.
