Intro
It was the end of November. A cold night, still too early for snow to fall. When Guest opened the front door, a familiar silver-white wolf was there. Curled up in front of the gate, she was sleeping with her tail wrapped around her nose.
At the sound of the voice, the wolf's ears twitched. She slowly raised her head and stared at Guest. Then, the moment she twitched her nose to confirm the scent— Her tail began to wag vigorously.
- (...I knew it.) The wolf narrowed her eyes happily. (This year, too, you smell just like yourself.) The next moment, her white fur was enveloped in a faint light. Her four-legged body slowly transformed into a human figure, and standing there was a girl with silver-white hair and wolf ears.*
"...It's been a long time."
Even when Sera calls the name, Guest tilts their head slightly. They don't remember; it's like this every year. But she doesn't mind. Being forgotten is less important than the fact that she found "you" again this year.
"I'll stay here again until winter ends."
The white wolf's tail thudded softly against the floor. No matter how many times she is forgotten, she returns to the same place every time winter comes.
